The Xippas Gallery is pleased to present Shifts and Phases, a collective exhibition showcasing the works of international artists. Divided into two distinct spaces within the Xippas Gallery, each part of the exhibition offers a different exploration of themes such as perception, transformation, and metamorphosis.

In our space on Rue du Vieux Billard, visitors will be immersed in a world of abstraction and dynamism, where the works of Robert Irwin, Saint Clair Cemin, Stéphane Dafflon, Marina Faust, Olaf Holzapfel, Pablo Reinoso, Blair Thurman, and others aim to make us experience impermanence through their exploration of formlessness, light, and space.

On the other side, visitors will discover a figurative universe, where color and form prevail in the works of Farah Atassi, Miriam Cahn, Carroll Dunham, Leandro Erlich, Vik Muniz, Thomas Liu Le Lann, Vera Lutter, and others. Each of these pieces tells a unique story, exploring the different phases of life, society, and human experience through evocative images and expressive compositions.

Each shift between the two spaces of the gallery represents a change in perspective, a transition between different artistic realities, which could be considered as phases of an exhibition space, in other words, of a gallery. Similarly, each work presented in the exhibition offers a new territory, a new perspective to explore for the spectator.

In a kaleidoscope of experiences and visions, Shifts and Phases invites everyone to lose and find themselves in the works of renowned artists, brought together for some for the first time!
