Mathieu Cherkit’s two recent paintings are included in the collective exhibition Immortelle – Vitalité de la jeune peinture figurative française at the MO.CO in Montpellier, France on view from March 11 to June 4, 2023.

During this exhibition will be presented emblematic artists of the French scene, born from 1970 to the early 80s. Generous and sensitive, it intends to pay tribute to painting, in its physical, materialist, erotic and romantic aspects.
Bringing together more than 400 works by 122 artists, this historic event offers a committed reading of two decades of French painting.

The exhibition will be accompanied by a richly illustrated catalog.
