The painting Equilibre (2022) by Mathieu Cherkit is included in the collective exhibition Le jour des peintres. 80 peintres contemporains de la scène française at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, curated by Thomas Lévy-Lasne.

This day-long exhibition, above presenting a large panorama of the contemporary painting in France, is a unique event that allows the public to meet the 80 artists during the day on September 19, where each painter will present his work, in a relation to the collection of the Musée d’Orsay.

This exhibition is accompanied by a series of interviews with the participating artists on the Youtube channel Les Apparances.
