We are pleased to announce that two important works by Stéphane Dafflon – AST254 (2016) and AST420 (2023) – have recently been acquired by the Swiss Confederation and are now part of the Federal Art Collection, managed by the Fondation Gottfried Keller.

This acquisition acknowledges Dafflon’s enduring contribution to contemporary Swiss abstraction. His paintings are distinguished by a formal precision and a refined sense of color and rhythm, resulting in compositions that are both rigorous and luminous. Through a methodical and intuitive process, Dafflon creates works that resonate with clarity, balance, and a quiet intensity.
