Dominique Blais and Céleste Boursier-Mougenot at the Biennale Son, Switzerland

Dominique Blais (1974) Finale (Les Adieux), 2016

Dominique Blais and Céleste Boursier-Mougenot are presented during the 1st edition of the Biennale Son, Sion & le Canton du Valais, Switzerland. Through their work they question materialization of immaterialization whether it is sound or time and the relationship and possibilities that pertain between sound and objects.

Co-curated by Jean-Paul Felley, Christophe Fellay, Luc Meier, Sylvie Zavatta, the Biennale Son is an event which aims to highlight the increasingly growing place of sound in the field of contemporary art.

Multidisciplinary, it seeks to blur the lines that are often too segmented between artistic disciplines that are closer than they seem. This event also offers the opportunity to discover installations, sculptural works, two-dimensional or in the form of texts, films, as well as performances, concerts and even theatrical pieces.
