Darren Almond’s work is included in the group show L’île intérieure at the Villa Carmignac, île de Porquerolles in the South France.

Conceived by the art historian and curator Jean-Marie Gallais around the idea of the island, the exhibition brings together the works by numerous renowned contemporary artists. If a fictitious, mental and abstract island takes shape, the real island, Mediterranean, comes to remind us regularly with works created in Porquerolles, such as the work Fullmoon@Sarranier, 2022 created by Darren Almond in the region especially on the occasion.
