Opening on Wednesday, December 9th, 2026

On the invitation by the Frac-Artothèque Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Marina Faust will present a solo exhibition Sans contrefaçon – Anatomie d’un vêtement.
The opening reception will be preceded by a talk and discussion with Marina Faust in the reading café.

The exhibition takes its starting point from the very history of the Charles-Michels building, which once housed a large department store specializing in fabrics, clothing and accessories. This history of the place resonates with a desire to explore the narratives of everyday life, focusing on what is familiar to us and what we share.

This first long-term curatorial program has been entrusted to independent curator Marianne Derrien. The project unfolds across several successive chapters, gradually transforming the spaces and the dialogues between the artworks through to August 2027, within a building conceived as a living, evolving space.
