For the 10th edition of the Biennale Images Vevey, dedcated to the theme ” We are family!”, Vik Muniz participates with his series Album.

For this series, the artist collected numerous family archives belonging to anonymous individuals, found at flea markets, categorized them by subject matter, and meticulously assembled them into entirely new, large-scale compositions. The installation nostalgically recalls the practice of pasting photos into albums, guardians of memory and foster the passing of memory between generations.
