Curated by Sven Beckstette and Ingrid Buschmann, this exhibition gathers 70 years of records and sound works by numerous artists in which is included the work Backstage (2008) of Rolf Julius.

This exhibition focuses on the involvement of artists in sound recording on vinyl. When this technique was discovered, the world was fascinated. Artists realized the rich creative potential that this small black plastic disk could offer them. They transformed this tool into a work of art by seeing its acoustic content and visual appearance as one.
