Explorador fascinado por la noción del tiempo y su representación. Darren Almond desarrolla desde hace casi veinte años una obra que combina tanto fotografías, películas, borradores, pinturas como instalaciones y esculturas. Los soportes y los temas muy variados (relojes desajustados, placas de trenes con frases poéticas, pinturas con combinaciones numéricas aleatorias) remiten al pasaje del tiempo, la memoria individual y colectiva, el movimiento y el espacio. Para la serie Fullmoon, el artista recorre el mundo buscando nuevos puntos de vista y obtiene fotografías con múltiples referencias a la pintura. Tomadas bajo la luz de la luna, el paisaje se vuelve visible gracias a un tiempo de exposición prolongado y pasa de una noche negra a una escena luminosa, a menudo fantasmagórica.
