Curated by Alfred Pacquement

December 5, 1994 – March 5, 1995

It was the fourth and final destination of the artist’s most important and largest institutional show after the Takis: Trois totems – Espace musical, at the Centre George Pompidou, Paris, 1981.

Organised by Alfred Pacquement, this major exhibition first took place in the National Gallery of Jeu de Paume, Paris, France [July 8 – October 17 1993] then traveled to FAE Museum of Contemporary Art, Pully – Lausanne, Switzerland [November 23 1993 – April 4 1994] and to Fundacion La Caixa, Madrid, Spain [ Autumn 1994] before its presentation as inaugural show of “Ergostasio”, the exhibition hall of the Fine Arts School of Athens.

In Takis Retrospective, the most comprehensive exhibition in the artist’s homeland, all his series of works since the beginning of his career were included.
