Martin Blaszko participates to the MADI movement and evokes art from an urbanistic point of view. His projects that can usually be walked through, seek to promote dialogue between city and its inhabitants. Having pure and dynamic rhythm as a starting point, Blazsko activates antagonist forces in order to maintain a continuous movement in the work. The geometrical figures act in a rational and, at the same time, playful way. Even if his paintings seem to be preparatory steps for three-dimensional artworks, his sculptures unveil a study of space where dimensions of the artwork contradict the sensation of monumentality that is implied.
